- SoarSoft Software started as a company in 1992, the
same year CompuFoil as a program was released for public
use.
- CompuFoil started as a ~200
line DOS program and is currently a 250,000 line
C++ application.
- It has evolved from three
DOS version; CompuFoil, to CompuFoil Plus,
to CompuFoil Professional, and three Windows versions;
CompuFoil for Windows, CompuFoil98, and the current
product, CompuFoil2000.
- This steady development and
commitment trend has pushed it into the status of undisputed leader in airfoil programs. CompuFoil
is in use in Universities, NASA, commercial model manufacturers
such as SIG, Midwest Models, Great Planes Inc., and
demanding hobbyists around the world.
- CompuFoil is programmed and
maintained by Eric Sanders. Once a Quality Analyst
with an Summa
Cum Laude engineering
degree from General Motors Institute, an avid R/C glider builder, and is now
a professional programmer, is it any wonder that
CompuFoil has turned out to be a quality software product
with the needs of an R/C builder fully addressed, all
wrapped in a professionally presented Windows interface?
