The
Feather/Cut is undoubtedly the most popular automatic foam cutting
unit around. It uses a gravity feed mechanism to smoothly and consistently
draw your bow over your foam templates, completely hand free - even
tapered wing panels are automatically cut. The Feather/Cut can be
setup on the edge of any smooth work surface, and it, along with
the bow, fold up for easy storage in the heavy duty mailing tube.
The Feather/Cut comes with special T-370 cutting wire. This wire
is 20% stronger than music wire and stretches much less than nichrome.
Anodized aluminum construction assures this unit will last a lifetime.
The Feather/Cut comes with a 28" bow. Also available are 40"
and 52" bows. Powering the Feather/Cut is accomplished with
the Tekoa Thermal Generator. This power supply is constructed with
circuitry allowing it in effect monitor the temperature of the wire.
By centering the power supply's meter needle, you are assured that
the proper wire temperature is attained, no matter how close you
have the power leads attached to the bow. Read a foam cutting
