If You Need Technical Support for CompuFoil3D
For your convenience, a list of frequently asked questions is provided below. Please be sure to review this list, as it is very possible that your question has already been answered here. If the solution you seek is not here, please feel free to contact our technical support. Also note that another important source of information is the extensive Help system that has been provided with CompuFoil3D. The Help system is well-organized and very easy to use. Moreover, by taking a few moments to review the help, you will better familiarize yourself with the program and learn more about all the features available.
General
Do I need to download anything else to get the full version of CompuFoil3D?
No. The CompuFoil3D program installed by the compufoil3dsetup.exe file is the full version. It is unlocked with a serial number which will be emailed to you after your order is process, normally within 8 hours.
Do I need to purchase multiple licenses if I want to install CompuFoil3D on multiple computers?
Generally no. As long as the installations are for your own personal use, you may install the software on multiple computers. If CompuFoil is intended to be used by multiple people, then you will need multiple licenses. Site licensing is available at a discount rate.
What is your upgrade policy?
In 1992 when I made CompuFoil a commercial product, I made the policy that incremental updates will always be free. which include upgrades to features as well as glitch fixes. If a problem is found with CompuFoil, it will normally be fixed and the updates posted the next day, if not the same day.
Major new releases can be upgraded to with heavy discounts to upgraders. The upgrade from CompuFoil2000 to CompuFoil3D is only $42 and includes upgrades to all the features you previously had, (see list of what's new)
Your evaluation copy of CompuFoil3D is a full-featured release. This means that the same capabilities available in the registered software are present in the non-registered software. This allows you to try out all the features in CompuFoil3D to confirm that they work to your satisfaction.

How long does it take to get my activation key?
Email is checked several times per day. Orders are always processed as they com in, so it normally does not take more than five hours.
What do I do once I get my email?. How do I use the key?
Your email will have your activation key printed in your email. You can simply highlight and copy the key information, and then select the Unlock Software button. Your information will automatically be entered in for you and the software can be registered. The other, perhaps more convenient way is to simply run the file attachment that will come along with the email. This will start CompuFoil3D and automatically register it.
How do I best learn to use CompuFoil3D?
I would start by going through the Tip of the Day which CompuFoil displays at startup. There some good information in there. Don't hesitate to use help button either. CompuFoil3D's help file has been greatly expanded. It's ten times larger than CompuFoil itself. Of course, don't hesitate to email either!
